After receiving his medical degree from SUNY Stonybrook School of Medicine in Long Island, New York, Dr. Sayeed completed a residency in general surgery at Northwell LIJ Health System. He took a year off from his residency to complete a fellowship in Burn Surgery and Surgical Critical Care at the University of Texas and Shriners Children's Hospital in Galveston, Texas. Dr. Sayeed worked as an attending in Surgical Critical Care, before going on to complete his three-year training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with leaders in the field.
Dr. Sayeed has authored and co-authored book chapters, including a chapter on burn surgery in Total Burn Care, the premier textbook on burn surgery. He also has co-authored articles including those published in “Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery”, which is considered the most esteemed peer-reviewed journal in plastic surgery.
Now in private practice focusing on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, including hair replacement, Dr. Sayeed continues to use his rigorous training, extensive experience, and depth of knowledge to provide optimally and evidenced-based care to his patients.
